Here’s what the drive looks like heading north on the Gene Snyder freeway (I-265) from Kentucky. The video starts at the new section just before the final exit to US 42 and ends near Charlestown IN. I had read that there are 8.5 miles of new roadway and the video lasts 8 minutes and 30 seconds. Hmmm. I have to say it was a bit disorienting… One moment I’m in the east end of Louisville then moments later I’m a few miles north of the river in southern Indiana near I-65. For all of my life moving between those two locals would have required 40 minutes of travel.
