In this video we traveled to Louisville Kentucky to Iroquois Park. We go every year to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! This is a yearly event that showcases over 5000 hand carved pumpkins. Usually this is a walk-through event with food vendors and other items available, but this year it was done as a drive-through. Before we went I was worried we wouldn’t get enough time to stop to see the individual pumpkins but that was not the case. We had no trouble getting to see the pumpkins and take pictures and video. They allowed cars to start lining up at 6:45 PM and we got there probably around 7:30 PM and had to wait maybe 45 minutes in line. On the weekends the lines are typically much longer and they suggest that you buy your tickets online because they’re anticipating sell out nights. We asked them how they keep the pumpkins fresh for the entire month and they stated that they replace the pumpkins about every 3 to 5 days so sometimes the pumpkins are different throughout the month.
If you’re near the Louisville area this is definitely an event you don’t want to miss. Thank you for watching and be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.
