Mary Conway, Torque News Ram and Dodge news reporter, says “Ram is adding new technology to make the 2020 Ram Heavy Duty trucks even safer. Studies show the vast majority of heavy duty truck owners use their vehicles to tow. Now hauling will be even easier to manage.,”
One of the big new additions for safety is that Ram is making Lane Keeping Assist and Adaptive Steering available for all trim levels. The technology will alert drivers if they are drifting out of their lanes, which will allow give drivers the chance to correct their path before anyone gets hurt. Adaptive Steering can change the truck’s gear ration while it is moving, giving the driver better control while traveling at lower speeds.
