My name is Tani Lamb, the author of a children’s travel book entitled, “T Sees an Island”. The above Wave3/NBC Louisville footage is for my book signing reservation held at the Shoppes at Plainview Barnes & Noble in Louisville, Kentucky. The book signing occurred on October 15, 2017.
My global explorations over the past 20 years inspired me to write a children’s travel series entitled “T Sees”. The “T Sees” series is a reminiscence of my previous, actual travels. Each story in the series is narrated through my eyes, as a Seven-year-old. I have visited over 37 countries, 38 States, and six continents.
“T Sees an Island” is the first book in my “T Sees” Travels Series. I was inspired to write “T Sees an Island” after my trip to the United States Virgin Islands of St. Croix and St. Thomas, in July of 2016. The island vacation was very light-hearted and explorative, depicting a child’s adventurous nature. The ease of snorkeling from the coast of St. Thomas, and then relaxing poolside while gazing at the crystal clear Caribbean Sea, were contributive backdrops for the book. I used my real-life excursions in the United States Virgin Island, in addition to my scenic home state of Kentucky, to create the colorful and fascinating world of “T Sees an Island.”
